Blog Give~Away is Back!

July Blog Give Away
I have decided to bring back my monthly blog give aways.
This is a vintage bottle that I applied a black transfer, added vintage looking chain and seam binding, antique chandelier crystals, and a vintage black beaded button.
Please leave a comment what 4th July means to you and that will enter your name in my give away. I will announce a winner on Monday, July 7th. Good luck!

The June design project, I was sent a Crafty Secrets, Sweet Chips Chipboard, Little Girl Outfit. I used the Little Girl Outfit, vintage buttons, toile, red pearls, Liberty Stars paper, Sheer Silver on Vine paper, and Castaway Die Cut cardstock.

Patriotic Picnic

I know...2 posts in one day! The dogs were well behaved today, so I got a chance to complete both projects!
Hugs, Sharon

First I want to say - I enjoy your blog very much!

Now - what does July 4 mean to me?

It stands for Freedom - the freedoms we all enjoy and take for granted. *smile* I have a son, a stepson, and a son in law all in the army. They are protecting those very freedoms - and will continue to do so the duration of their careers.

It also means a great family get together at the park when ever we can get everyone here, or a simple lunch for the hubby and me outdoors.

Hugs
Renee

Sharon!
Your blog back ground looks so cute! And it's perfect with your new blog banner!
4th of July has a lot of meaning to me... coming to this country, learning the language, traditions, meeting great people... and it was the day Ryan had introduced me to part of his family.

Your artworks are wonderful!!

Thank you!
hugs, Vanessa

The 4th of July means celebrations of freedom, honoring our heroes who so bravely fight for our rights and freedom. It also is one of my favorite holidays to spend time with my kids!!

I stumbled on your blog while visiting elsewhere... can't even recall where at the moment...

Just wanted to say how sorry I am about the loss of your son last year. I have one child and I can't imagine the pain of losing her.

You are so talented with your hands. Stunning work.

Hi--I love the darling little dress and the patriotic colors! To me, the Fourth of July means Patriotism and the celebration of Freedom--and it means, togetherness in nation and family. Picnics, parades, fireworks, a grand celebration of the great country we are privileged to live in and be a part of. Love the beautiful bottle, also! Cheers, Jann

I forgot to answer the question...what does the 4th of July mean to me? Our freedom and all of those who have fought to help us keep that freedom, fireworks, picnics and time with family!!

The fourth is a little bittersweet , but mostly sweet. Most of the men in my family were in one branch of the service or another - my father an Air Force pilot , as was my step-father when my dad was killed in service , my brother Navy and my husband Army. We remember the sacrifices , but it's a time to celebrate the gifts they've bought us too and enjoy our family and friends too - barbecues and kids with sparklers and un-finished pops everywhere. It's good stuff. :)

And your little dress and the bottle are very sweet! (oops)

July 4th means complete freedom of every citizen of the United States. We each have the freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom of choices to do anything we wish to better ourselves.

I love your blog! I just found it! Thank you Pat Winter for getting me here and to the Shabby Cottage blogspot.

The 4th of July is a time to be with family and friends, eat a HOT DOG, and be thankful and proud of this great nation we live in. Let's celebrate our independence and remember our fighting men and women who allow us the continued FREEDOMS we have. GOD BLESS THE USA!

Please enter me in your beautiful bottle give away. :+}

I found you through Shabby Cottage Studio and just love what you've done so far! That bottle is very inspiring; I just picked up four blue bottles from a flea market and have been wondering what to do with them. LOVE yours!

As for the 4th of July, this year what it meant to me was that I'll get a bigger paycheck next week because I had to work! (Someone has to hold the fort down while everyone else is having a great holiday! LOL)
