There is nothing I would not do for those who are really my friends.
I have no notion of loving people by halves, it is not my nature.

Creating

This is an altered Bingo card I made for a sweet friend.
Hoping she feels better soon!
I used a vintage greeting card image and added some vintage lace and flowers.
I added the glitter star that was made by Madai.
She makes the most beautiful glitter items!
I participated in a swap in June.
We were to give a wedding photo in the swap.
Here is the wedding photo before.

I altered the photo using some flocked flowers, seam binding, vintage doilie, and a vintage brooch.
I lost the photo images of the vintage items I sent her in the swap.
So I thought I would share some of my creations.

Wishing you a wonderful day!

This is my sister Carol.
She, too, is always reading a book.
She is an excellent cook!
This is my sister Debbie.
She is the one that likes to travel the world!
Just missing my family today!

A Special Order

Just a peek at a special order for Deb ~ Garage Sale Gal.

I had made some tags for a recent swap (which I will post later this week) which I posted a sneak peek on an earlier post. Deb requested a special order for a banner. This special order was fun to create.

Tags for some dear friends.

I did get into the my studio Saturday evening.
I wanted to make some tags for some dear friends that I have met both from Etsy and blogland.

I made a couple sets of each of the tags shown.
I used some of my favorite vintage images, vintage lace, vintage buttons, ribbons, and paper flowers.

I love making tags. They are such great miniature pieces of art.
You can display them with vintage buttons and lace on antique plates or bowls.
I have also displayed them on vintage bottles.
Of course they look great for that special gift!

I will be mailing these lovelies out to some of my dear friends next week.
Wishing you a wonderful Sunday!

I have lots of photos to share with you. I am hoping to post them early next week.

I wanted to thank Nancy my swap partner for a beautiful package that arrived on Friday. She was so generous.

This has been an unbelievable week...so stressful. So I am hoping to relax a little this weekend. Maybe get in the art studio.

A gift...just a peek

Here is a peek at a gift I made a couple weeks ago.
This is for a family member who just loves to cook and collect aprons.
This a flower I made made using a damaged hankie, vintage pearls, and seam binding.
I used vintage linens to make the apron. This is my first attempt at making an apron.
Even though I have sewn for years!

I want to thank you for visiting my blog and leaving such kind words for me.

Wishing you a wonderful Thursday!
