Blog Give Away

I promised you a blog
give away.  If you have
followed my blog, you
know that I usually
offer vintage items
in my give aways.
Of course, I will be
adding some of my
handmade vintage
gift tags!

But I really think you
will like the goodies
offered.  First item is a
Santos bust.  She is not
vintage but still is a
wonderful display piece.
Just think of all the
seasons you can decorate
this beauty.   I will be
posting some suggestions
next week.

Second item is a magazine
Creating Vintage Charm.

It is full of wonderful
inspirations!
To enter my give away,
please leave a comment regarding
your favorite holiday
memories.  If you share my
give away on your Facebook
page, you will have an
extra entry for the drawing.
Drawing will be on
November 9th.

Good luck!

Until next time,
Sharon

My favorite memory was when our daughter was 3. She wouldn't come out of her room to see her presents. We waited and waited. This was the only year that happened.

What beautiful offerings, Sharon! The Santos is so elegant! My favorite holiday memories are of my children when they were small ( they're 38 & 40 now) delighting in their excitement. They live out of state now and I miss them at Christmas...we do all get together for Thanksgiving.
So happy to see you blogging again and of course I get to visit on Facebook.

My favorite memory is the year before my Mama passed away. Christmas and I have her a set of ducks with each of her 6 children's name and birthdays on them:). She loved them. Makes me smile every time I think about it. Have a blessed day, hugs.

Making gingerbread men for a class party. They were sch a hit I was obligated to make them every year as long as I had a child in grade school.
My 40 something son came home one Christmas and I decided not to make them that year. first thing he asked was where are the gingerbread men. I ended up making them.

Wonderful memories.

Your Santo would be wonderful to win. I am new to your blog but have added you to my blog list.

Hugs

What a beautiful giveaway, Sharon! My favorite memories are decorating our front windows with spray snow with my dad, and baking cookies in my Santa apron with my mother...simple times. I'm going to share on FB, too! Thanks so much for hosting!

First things first...I am thrilled that I found your blog and secondly can't believe what a treasure those that post a memory can win! So my favorite memory is of my grandmother always allowing me to choose one present before I went to bed and before Santa officially came and miraculously it was the same present year after year a pair of hand knitted slippers she had made me....the ones with the ball on top. Now that I am older I remember she always encouraged the present choice...ha-ha-ha! What I wouldn't give to do the same this coming Christmas eve and open another hand knitted pair of slippers with balls on top just one more time....love and miss my grandma so much <3 Thanks for helping me remember that memory.

My favorite memory is of my brother, sister and I getting up on Christmas morning and sitting by the heater looking at the presents waiting for our parents to wake. Thanks for the giveaway.

One of my Favorite Childhood memories was the Christmas Santa was to bring our Tree... and yes when we woke Christmas morning the largest and most beautiful Chru\istmas Tree was in our living room. Now this tree was different, this tree was covered in thick plush white flocking...• secret be told the tree came from the window display at the dress shop my Grandma worked at ....

This is such a generous and beautiful giveaway. I am blessed with so many wonderful memories it is hard to choose but one comes to mind. When I was little Santa Claus came to visit my sister and I one Christmas Eve. He brought us presents and toys and it was very exciting for us. We gave him cookies and watched him eat every one of them. It was a truly magical experience for us and one that I will never forget.

blessings,
Danielle

When at an open house, make sure to ask the selling agent a lot of questions. You do not want to get too attached to a home only to find out it does not have certain features you need or that it has certain things that you do not want.

it is a good idea to use some hot coffee to melt the sugar before you start. This will stop the grains of sugar from lingering at the bottom of the cup. Each sip will taste just as sweet as the last.
