There is nothing I would not do for those who are really my friends.
I have no notion of loving people by halves, it is not my nature.

Some affection and imagination!

I am certain of nothing but of the holiness of the Heart's Affections and the truth of the Imagination. ~ John Keats

Imagination:
1. the faculty of imagining, or of forming mental images or concepts of what is not actually present to the senses.
2. the action or process of forming such images or concepts.
3. the faculty of producing ideal creations consistent with reality, as in literature, as distinct from the power of creating illustrative or decorative imagery. Compare fancy ( def. 2 ) .
4. the product of imagining; a conception or mental creation, often a baseless or fanciful one.
5. ability to face and resolve difficulties; resourcefulness: a job that requires imagination.

Affection:
1. fond attachment, devotion, or love: the affection of a parent for an only child.
2. Often, affections.
a. emotion; feeling; sentiment: over and above our reason and affections.
b. the emotional realm of love: a place in his affections.
3. Pathology . a disease, or the condition of being diseased; abnormal state of body or mind: a gouty affection.
4. the act of affecting; act of influencing or acting upon.
5. the state of being affected.
6. Philosophy . a contingent, alterable, and accidental state or quality of being.

You can take both your imagination and affection for something and create endless art...or even a wonderful home. A vintage postcard image from my collection. Wishing you a wonderful day!

Thank you for stopping by. I thought I had lost all my old friends because I have been gone so long. It is good to see your name among the comments and they are appreciated. I am going to be working less hours so maybe I can get back on track.
The lady is lovely and I wanted to tell you how much I appreciated the "MVS" in front of the save name. I wish more blogs would remember to do the same thing....It helps me to give credit where credit is due when I use a picture. Thank you for taking that extra step. I have been adding the names of the blogs where I get the lovely pics so this helps alot.
Blessings to you on this holiday weekend!

What a beautiful card. Some imagination went into designing the hat.
No really, the linking of affection and imagination is an interesting concept. I apply both in my sewing every day.
Have a great Labor Day weekend.
