There is nothing I would not do for those who are really my friends.
I have no notion of loving people by halves, it is not my nature.

Busy week...

It has been a busy week for us.
We had the exterior of the
house painted and purchased
some new furniture for our
seating area in the kitchen
and family areas.  We are also
putting wood floors in the
master bedroom.  Hoping
this is completed this week.

Here are some vintage St.
Patrick's Day postcards for
your art work this week.
These images are from a CD
of vintage postcards I
purchased several years ago.
Enjoy!

Thank you for visiting my blog dear friends!
Next week I will share some photos of
our Easter decorations.

Wishing you a wonderful week!

Some shipping info for sellers!

I hope your week has been a good one so far.
Please include the families effected by
the tornadoes last night in your prayers.

I have some shipping information I
wanted to share with you this evening.
Last week I purchased some goodies
from several Etsy sellers.  One
package arrived today with
postage due of $4.79.  The seller
used a priority mail box, wrapped
in brown mailing paper. The  post office tore the
edge of the package/paper.  This
is what was stamped on the package twice
"priority boxes can only be used for priority
shipments this parcel needs to be
repacked and repriced".  Just some
info I wanted to share with sellers on
Etsy and eBay.

Here are some scans of my personal
vintage Easter postcard collection.
Enjoy!

Hope you have a wonderful day
on Thursday!

an update February 26th

I hope your week has been a good one for you.

I have been busy organizing my art room.
Do you ever get over whelmed by all the stuff?
I love to collect vintage lace, postcards, and
cabinet cards.  In the process of
organizing, I found some beautiful
cabinet cards I have purchased
over the past few years.  I scanned two
of them for you to use in your
art work.

Enjoy!

Yes, these are from MY collection!
Last year I did a Google search for vintage
roses and found some images on Flickr.
I did a post on vintage rose postcards I had
scanned to share and also shared a photo I
found on Flickr, and did not state the
photo was mine.  Well, this week I was
accused of "stealing" the photo.
I can't remember the Flickr account name
and never have been to the artist's
website or blog...really
do not know this person.
I wasn't too happy to say the
least of being accused of
stealing another person's photo.

update:
I spoke with the photographer
on Saturday.  We discussed my
Google search "vintage rose
postcards".  I could not remember
the link since it was a while back.

I share my vintage images
for your art work.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Until next time...
Sharon
