Beautiful Day

It was a beautiful day here for us.  Temperature was 88 degrees.

Don and I went out this morning to purchase some plants

for the front door and the screen patio.

It was so crowded...everyone had the same plans for the morning.

I will share some photos with you next week.

This week I scanned several of my Edwardian

postcards to share with you.

I really love the Edwardian era fashions for the hats

and dresses of the period.

Most were beautiful but there were some that

were just awful.

Mail Surprise

Look at my mail surprise!

Deb ~ Garage Sale Gal ~ and I have several swap exchanges during the year. This is my Easter swap goodies.  Aren't they just a cutest?  Deb also sent me some  chocolate covered pretzels,

my favorite. 

But I have eaten those goodies.

We had horrible weather here yesterday.

The three dogs and me were our center

closet for about an hour during the storms. 

Surprisingly the dogs seem to know the routine

and go right in the closet with me.

Today the sun is shining!
