October Blog Give Away

Fall is here! I really enjoy the fall weather...walks in the afternoon to see all of the changing colors and fall/Halloween decorations for the homes. This is a time to take it slow and enjoy all sights and sounds of the changing season.

I believe it is never too early for start some planning for the Christmas holiday season. There are some already Christmas shopping. I am having a blog give away for October offering some wonderful pages of inspiration and ideas. Maybe a little planning now will allow you to enjoy the Christmas holiday season.

I am adding an additional holiday book to the give away ~ Celebrate the Holidays by Scrapbook Trends. This is a wonderful book full of inspiration for cards, tree ornaments, gift bags & tags, and home decor.

Etsy ~ New Holiday Tags

Here are some Christmas gift tags I made today. I used original vintage Christmas postcards and embellished with ribbons, rhinestones and new papers.

These will be listed in my Etsy store this afternoon. I love making gift tags using vintage postcards.

Handmade Holiday Cards

Here are some of my handmade holiday cards I made this weekend. This is really my first attempt at making cards...have made lots of vintage inspired gift tags.

On all but one of the cards I used new papers and embellishments.

Halloween art

Here are some vintage postcards for your Halloween art and decorations.

This has been a busy week so far. I had lunch with Chantel on Tuesday...so much fun! We went to a florist shop that was really like going back in time with fall flowers, pumpkins, and decorations. There were so many great displays for the home...so many ideas! It was just great getting out for lunch and seeing a nice friend. The weather even held up for the outing...which there were reports for more rain and thunderstorms.

I have been busy making some Christmas cards. Christmas is my favorite time of the year...love to decorate, go shopping, and baking goodies.
