I have been under the weather

for the past month with a flu thing,

and new meds.  All of which has

made my days not too good.

My sisters did come to visit

last week.  We really enjoyed

our time with them.

Don wanted a strawberry cake this week.

I haven't made a cake in months.

So this was my attempt at making

a strawberry cake. 

It didn't turn out too pretty.  :)

Several years back a friend of ours

owned a tea room.  Her secret

ingredient in her cake...

sour cream.

It makes it taste like a

pound cake.
