How many days until Spring?

According to my sidebar calendar, it is 39 days until Spring. 

I found some of my vintage cabinet cards I scanned a couple of years ago. 

I thought these would help with your Spring thoughts.

We had more snow here today...causing a lot of problems on the roadways for the drivers.

This area does not see this much snow, but again this has been an unusal winter for all areas.

Not much going on in the studio this week. 

 I am still recovering from pneumonia and a second round of meds.

Vintage Valentine

The past couple of weeks I have made some vintage Valentine art and gift tags for some blogging friends and family.

  I thought I would share with you some of the finished gifts.

This is a collage a made for a new blogging friend.  I used a original vintage Valentine for this collage, and added a vintage button embellished with vintage lace.

Here are some of the handmade gift tags.  I used copies of vintage Valentine cards and vintage photo images for these gift tags.  I embellished the tags with new papers, vitnage lace, vintage buttons, rhinestones, paper flowers, and ribbons.

A Winter Swap Peek

This is a peek at my fabric collage creation for the Winter Swap.

I have been ill this past week and found out yesterday that I have pneumonia. 

 It started off with a cough...that just got worst. 

 So needless to say I am on some strong medications for now.

Today is one of those days when I just want to stay in bed and sleep.  But when you have 3 dogs that need your attention...and lots of housework to catch up on...you just can't do it.
