Here are some of my handmade holiday cards I made this weekend. This is really my first attempt at making cards...have made lots of vintage inspired gift tags.
On all but one of the cards I used new papers and embellishments.
I hope everyone is having a great weekend! Please don't forget about checking this week for my October blog give away...it will have some vintage and new goodies!
All of these are very pretty, Sharon! Welcome to the wonderful world of cardmaking! I got to do some treasure hunting in some antique stores yesterday and brought home some goodies. I always look for things I can use on cards and had some success there. I found 2 very old music books, one from 1902!! The lovely aged pages with make beautiful papers for cards --- after I scan them, of course!! I couldn't imagine taking a single page from these treasures!
Hi Sharon, Your cards are GREAT!!! It doesn't look like it's your first time making cards...you are a paper designer...so I knew they would be great!! Warmly, Deb :)
Your cards are so pretty, I love them all, especially the Noel. Hope you are having a good weekend. I am here with my sick baby. Little Miss Feebee has dirrehia and has been feeling poorly. I am feeding her with some of her food with rice and rice water. It has helped. She is sleeping now. Think she got upset when I left her to go to the flea market. Maybe she will be okay tomorrow. Hope you are feeling okay. Hugs, Pat
I love your comments ~ thanks for taking a minute to leave me a note! If you have a question, please leave an email so I can get back to you. I wish I had more hours in the day to visit all of the wonderful blogs out there~if you have something you think I would like to see, please invite me over and I'll do my best! :) Sharon
